Overview

In the late afternoon your driver collects you from your hotel, apartment or cruise port in a private, air-conditioned Mercedes and heads south along the Athenian Riviera: sparkling bays, seaside villages and the turquoise waters of Lake Vouliagmeni on one side, the open Aegean on the other. Then the moment everyone comes for. High on the cliffs at the tip of Attica, the 2,500-year-old Temple of Poseidon glows gold as the sun sinks into the sea. Legend says Lord Byron loved the view so much he carved his name into the marble. Afterwards, enjoy an optional seafood dinner at a tavern by the water in Palaia Fokaia before a relaxed drive back to Athens under the evening lights.
