SEE CORFU FROM ABOVE

A hiking tour up to the highlands of Corfu (approx. 900m. from the sea level). During the entire tour you will admire the panoramic views, down and several kilometers far away over the island or across to nearby Albania. Pantokrators’ rocky landscape and alpine tracks make it an ideal destination for MTB. The climate up there is never too hot, even in the middle of July and the air is scented from greek mountain herbs.

What you will do

Stop 1
A hiking tour around the highest peak of Corfu. Participants will enjoy unique panoramic views of the entire island that remain unforgettable. It begins from the “GEO bicycling and more” in Dassia or from a pre-arranged meeting point and we drive by minivan to the top of Pantokrator mountain. The activity will take place in protected natural area with rather “alpine” Mediterranean flora. Up there the air has the characteristic scent of wild peppermint and oregano and the climate is never too hot, even in the middle of July. From the starting point of the tour we can see down and several kilometers far away, up to Corfu Town. As we move forward, we have panoramic views of the sparkling sea and the North –East coastline and Albania. The hiking is a 9 km circular route. The activity lasts approx. 4 hours plus 2 the transport.

The GEO bicycling and more shop is in Dassia, at the main road, 200m. before the IKOS Hotels (direction Ypsos / not Corfu Town) Bus Nr.07, DASSIA-IPSOS (from Saroko square blue bus terminal, Corfu Town), bus stop: Hotel Primavera

Pickup: Pick up availiable from: Barbati (main road), Ypsos, Katomeri / Kato Korakiana, Dasia, Komeno, Dafnila, Tzavros, Gouvia, Kontokali, Alikes, New Port. For any OTHER locations, upon prior request. For any further information regarding picking up and transport please contact us. For locations furhter than 12-15km from Dassia, pick up will have an extra charge to cover fuel expences and prior arrangement is required.
