While venturing inside is no longer possible (you can opt for a boat ride at extra cost under good sea conditions), be led to a jaw-dropping viewpoint from which you can gaze in awe at the colossal sea cavern which is known for the opening in its top where light streams thorugh.

We highly recommend this scenic 90-minute boat tour, offering breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline. Highlights include dramatic cliffs, sea arches, hidden beaches, the Fort of Santa Catarina, more than five impressive caves, and the world-famous Benagil Cave.

If you select the “Include Benagil Cave Boat Tour” option, the boat tour is included, but participation depends on weather and sea conditions.

We recommend choosing the “Exclude Benagil Cave Boat Tour” option and deciding on the morning of your tour. Your guide will assess the sea conditions and advise whether the boat tour is suitable.
