Overview

The lift climbs through the ironwork, the rooftops of Paris fall away, and at the summit the whole city opens out to the horizon. Unlike many tours, your guide doesn’t stop at the second floor but stays with you all the way to the top.

Your group is limited to 10 guests, with timed tickets reserved in advance, so there’s no ticket-office queue. On the second floor, your guide tells the story of la Dame de fer, built for the 1889 World’s Fair with a permit for just 20 years, and points out the monuments below.

Continue together to the summit, where Gustave Eiffel kept a private apartment at the very top of his tower.

Good to know: everyone changes elevators on the second floor, so expect a short wait for the summit lift. If the summit is closed, we refund the price difference automatically.

What you will do

Eiffel Tower
A 90-minute guided tour of the Eiffel Tower, from the second floor to the summit, in a small group of no more than 10 guests. Your guide meets you near the tower with your pre-reserved timed tickets, takes you up by elevator and stays with you all the way to the top. When the tour ends, you’re free to stay on the tower as long as you like.

Meeting point

Meet your guide on the end of the Pont d'Iena, directly opposite the Eiffel Tower. *Do not go under the tower! The Tower is directly in front of you and the river is behind you, on the right hand side of the bridge when facing the tower. Your guide will have an orange badge on an orange lanyard.

End point: The tour ends on the Eiffel Tower

If you plan to arrive at the meeting point by taxi, please ensure you leave yourselves plenty of time, it can often take a considerable amount of time to find a taxi in Paris!
Please note that guests with limited mobility will not be able to access the summit of the Eiffel Tower due to safety regulations.
