Beato Angelico, or Fra Angelico, was both a master painter and a Dominican friar, turning spiritual devotion into art. This private tour explores his most iconic works at the Museo di San Marco, the former convent where they were created. In the friars’ dormitory, each cell holds a sacred fresco, such as the Crucifixion, Adoration of the Magi, and Transfiguration, designed for reflection. The Chapter Hall’s Crucifixion with Saints presents devotion on a monumental scale, while the Coronation of the Virgin radiates light, color, and harmony. The Madonna and Child with Saints blends Gothic elegance with Renaissance perspective.
