Overview
Just an hour from Thessaloniki, Mount Olympus and the ancient city of Dion combine history, mythology and nature in a single day, with max 4 guests in our own premium car and an experienced local tour leader. First stop is Dion's archaeological park, an outdoor museum that was once a whole city at the foot of the mountain of the gods, where you will see the statues and the theatre with its remarkable acoustics. An officially licensed guide at Dion is available on request, at an extra cost. Then you hike through the dense forest of Olympus to the old cave of Agios Dionysios near Prionia, passing natural river pools, perfect for a dip in summer. The day ends in the village of Litochoro, with free time for lunch by the river.

This site is a true glimpse into the past and the guide will take you through this outdoor museum of Dion which is, in fact, an ancient city, highlighting the different areas and their uses, the ancient statues and the theatre with its impressive acoustics. You will feel like you are taking a hike through history as you explore the area and learn about greek mythology, the 12 gods, and the centuries of civilization that have come and gone.

- Olympus National Park
You will embark on a hike in the dense forest of Olympus to the Agia Kori little church and then to the nearby waterfall and the natural pools. The path is very well-preserved and the scenery there is truly breathtaking, especially during spring and autumn this trail is truly fantastic and colourful. The hike is not well-known to most visitors and definitely worth a visit. During the summertime, the natural pools are the perfect spot to take a refreshing dip and enjoy the beauty of the area. Alternatively, we can choose to hike on a longer trail at Agios Dionysios's old cave located close to Prionia in another area of the mountain.
