Overview

The bus departs around 09:00 from Rethymno for the drive to Crete’s capital city of Chania, the most beautiful town on the island. Settled more than 4,000 years ago, Chania is one of the oldest cities in Europe.On this full-day excursion you’ll have 5 hours to explore Chania, with plenty of free time for a romantic walk through the idyllic old town.Visit historic neighborhoods, churches and museums and take a walk to the beautiful Venetian Port for shopping, a cup Greek coffee and lunch (not included in the tour price).At around 16:00 the bus will depart for the return trip Rethymno.

Chania Town
Chania is one of the most beautiful cities of Greece, featuring an exotic blend of different periods of history and their corresponding architectural styles. This trip offers you a straight transfer from your hotel to the city center where you can spend 5 hours of free time. You can explore the Venetian harbor, roam through the old Turkish quarters, havea drink or a meal at the seafront and be surprised by the aromatic and colorful herbs, spices and other local product that are being sold in the large market hall as well as in the numerous shops.Our bus start pick-up at 9:00 and drop off at 17:30.

Pickup: ▪︎ Pick-up and drop off (in Panormo, Scaleta, Adele, Platanias, Missiria, Rethymno town, Atsipopoulo,Sfakaki,Stavromenos,Gerani, Kavros and Georgioupoli) Pickup is from your hotel or the closest point accessible by a vehicle. You'll receive specific pickup information in a separate email from the local partner (please check your spam folder). All the pick ups from Rethymno old Town will be from the bus stop of church of four martyrs (4 martyres church).
