    Overview

Head out from Lagos Marina into the open Atlantic to meet wild dolphins where they live. A marine biologist joins every departure, explaining the species you see and how they feed, play and travel. You sit close to the water on a fast RIB, with local skippers who know this coast and find dolphins on around 95% of trips. As an ICNF-licensed operator, we follow Portugal's rules for approaching dolphins, so every encounter stays on the animals' terms.

    What you will do

    • Stop 1

Check in at the Seafaris office in Lagos Marina 15 minutes before departure. Seafaris was the first company in the Algarve to search for dolphins in their natural habitat, and our team has over 25 years of experience on this coast. From here you board the RIB and head out into the Atlantic in search of bottlenose and common dolphins, with a marine biologist on board. Bring sun protection and your camera.

      15 min

    • Leave Lagos Marina and head into the open Atlantic off the Lagos coast to look for wild bottlenose and common dolphins. When a pod is found, the boat slows down so you can watch them swim and feed while the marine biologist explains their behavior.
