Discover El Caminito del Rey, one of Spain’s most spectacular hiking experiences. Walk through the breathtaking Gaitanes Gorge on a restored cliffside pathway once known as the most dangerous trail in Europe.

Completely renovated and now safe to explore, this unforgettable 7 km route from Ardales to Álora offers stunning landscapes, dramatic viewpoints, and incredible photo opportunities in the heart of Málaga’s natural beauty.

A minimum of 4 participants is required to guarantee the tour.

Enjoy the amazing Caminito del Rey, an exciting path that hangs from the vertical walls of the gorge and at an average distance of 100 meters above the river.

Meeting point

Meet your guide at Restaurante El Kiosko, Parque Ardales, Pantano El Chorro, s/n, 29550 Ardales, Málaga.

End point: Once you finish the route, here you can take a bus to go back to the starting point. The route is a straight line; at the end, you’ll need to walk for 15–20 minutes to the shuttle bus stop (approx. €2.50, not included) to return to the Kiosko car park
