Overview

Moco Museum Barcelona presents a curated selection of 23 authentic Banksy works, including pieces never before shown in a museum.

Exploring authority, control, and their fractures through irony and subversion, the exhibition reflects Banksy’s sharp social and

political critique and invites visitors to rethink how power operates and how art can challenge it.

What you will do

Stop 1
Meet your guide in the Moco Museum, housed in the impressive Cervelló Palace in the trendy El Born district. Before setting off on your tour, hear about the building's noble history from your guide.
1 h
Carrer de Montcada
Barcelona's Carrer Montcada is lined with a succession of medieval, Renaissance, and baroque palazzos, their majestic doorways opening to reveal their beautiful courtyards of venerable stone. They bear witness to the rich and glorious past of medieval Barcelona's main street which was home to the city's nobles.
The origins of Carrer Montcada can be traced back to the 12th century when the dynasty of the Barons of Montcada was given the land by the Count Kings of Catalonia as a token of gratitude for the support they had given to King Ramon Berenguer IV in the conquest of Tortosa.
