Pico Mountain Climb the Highest Point of Portugal 2351m

Join us at this adventure to the summit (2351m) of Pico Mountain!

This is the most iconic and memorable experience in the Azores, perfect for those who are in good physical condition, even without any mountaineering experience.

Our meeting point will be Casa da Montanha 1200m where we will give a briefing to the entire group, review the necessary equipment and receive your locators to begin your journey of approximately 7 hours to 2351 meters and return.

The trail is approximately 8km long and is entirely on volcanic rock with an average slope of 30%, promising challenging differences in level.

In the first part of the trail, an intense change in breathing pattern and/or lack of balance are warning signs, as this is a sampling of the difference in level and the type of terrain that we will have in the next few hours on Pico Mountain and the participant may not be suitable for the activity.
