During this time, you will be given 1 hour of free time for lunch. Please note that lunch is not included in the price of the tour. Should you prefer, you can utilise the whole 90 minutes for your free time. You can grab a quick snack and then visit the impressive Airborne Museum. At the heart of Sainte-Mère-Eglise, facing the church where John Steele famously was caught, hanging from the bell tower by his parachute. The Airborne Museum makes you live and understand the D-Day from the invasion preparations in England, through to the battles for liberation. Board a glider and a C-47 aircraft with sound and light effects for a total immersion. You will also accompany the soldiers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Division in the decisive battles of the Normandy Landings thanks to an hyperrealistic museography.

    • Situated approximately 5 miles from Carentan, the small village of Angoville-Au-Plain witnessed heavy fighting between the German Paratroopers and American Paratroopers that dropped close by at dropzone D.
