    Overview

An active food blogger and member of the Mykonos Gastronomic Club, Angelina is passionate about sharing forgotten Greek and Myconian recipes featuring locally produced and seasonal ingredients. During your hands-on cooking lesson Angelina will teach you how to handle filo dough to prepare savory and sweet dishes like feta parcels with honey and sesame (or spanakopita!) and the easiest baklava. She will also show you how to prepare a main dish or salad.

As you learn to cook with a small ouzo in hand (indoors or outdoors), Angelina will help you understand Cycladic island gastronomy. Angelina focuses on Mykonian produce and seafood caught off the island's shores. Enjoy, over wine, an authentic home-cooked Greek menu that includes meze, Greek salad, a main dish with vegetable sides and dessert!

    What's included

    • Local wine
    • If market tour is selected, visit local fishmongers & a farmers market
    • A private Greek cooking experience in Mykonos led by a local food expert

    What you will do

    • Stop 1

Join Angelina for a private, hands-on Greek cooking class in her Mykonos home, learning to prepare traditional Greek and Cycladic dishes with local ingredients. Discover the island’s culinary heritage before sitting down to enjoy your homemade meal with wine and ouzo.

Learn to cook both savory & sweet Cycladic dishes in her kitchen - think feta parcels with honey & sesame (or spanakopita if fresh spinach is available) and a delicious baklava. For the main course, learn to make dishes like shrimp saganaki in fresh tomato sauce with feta or grilled calamari with basil pesto orzo.

With an ouzo in hand, Angelina will guide you through the essentials of Greek island cooking, showing how modest, local ingredients can create deeply satisfying meals. Angelina is passionate about sharing her culture and can also accommodate vegetarian diets.

If you choose the market tour add-on, you’ll join Angelina in exploring Mykonos’s open-air fishmongers and farmers markets for 45 min. Pick out fresh fish (if available), seasonal vegetables, and visit local shops for bread, local cheeses, and meze ingredients.
