    What you will do

    • Stop 1

Embark on the Route of El Cuervo, a spectacular 9 km circular trail through Lanzarote’s most iconic volcanic landscapes.

Before setting off, you’ll stop in Masdache to explore a fascinating volcanic tunnel. The hike begins near the Ortiz Volcano, where you’ll observe the dramatic layers of ejected volcanic material before continuing to the Colorado Volcano, an impressive strombolian cone with striking red tones.

Your journey continues through the Black Volcano (Volcán Negro), surrounded by rugged lava fields known as malpaís. Here, you’ll discover how locals have learned to adapt and make use of these seemingly barren lands. Take a short break to relax and enjoy a Canarian aperitif paired with local wine while admiring the fallen palm tree — a symbol of resilience in this harsh environment.

The highlight of the adventure is entering the majestic crater of El Cuervo Volcano, where you’ll walk inside the heart of Lanzarote’s volcanic past. As the tour concludes, witness the sunset over Pico Partido, bathing the landscape in golden and red hues — a moment you’ll never forget.

Get ready for an authentic Lanzarote experience that blends geology, culture, and breathtaking natural beauty!
