The adventure begins at Piano Provenzana, where 4x4 vehicles will take you up to 2900 meters. From there, the hike begins — a round-trip route of about 6 km — leading to the thrilling Central Crater of Etna at 3300 meters above sea level.
Upon reaching the summit, you'll stand on an extraordinary panoramic point, with stunning views across all of Sicily and even as far as the Aeolian Islands.
It’s here that you can truly sense the soul of the volcano.
The return path will be chosen based on weather conditions, passing through volcanic channels and deposits. The tour ends back at Piano Provenzana with a 4x4 descent.
