Enjoy some free time in the charming town of Praia da Vitória, birthplace of poet Vitorino Nemésio. Stroll along the sandy beach, wander through the marina and town center, or simply relax at a local café—soaking in the peaceful coastal atmosphere at your own pace.

Step on lava formations that originated true natural pools and, also, the traditional vineyards for the production of wines and liqueurs. Bring your swimsuit because you will have the opportunity to enjoy the water.

After this stop, we will have a pause for a lunch where you can enjoy the typical Terceira cuisine.

Algar do Carvão and Alternative Visit

Algar do Carvão is currently closed due to construction works. While it is unavailable, we’ll visit a local coffee and fruit farm instead. This alternative stop offers a unique opportunity to explore an organic plantation with bananas, coffee, passion fruits, and more—along with a guided explanation of how coffee is grown and processed on the island. A flavorful and immersive experience in Terceira’s agricultural life!
