Accompanied by a licensed Tour Guide you will discover the charm of Caltagirone, a UNESCO city famous for its ceramics and monuments.
With a slow pace we will discover the main monuments, such as the Staircase of Santa Maria del Monte, the Bridge of San Francesco, the Bourbon Prison, Piazza Umberto and Piazza Municipio, the Luigi Sturzo Gallery. We will visit the traditional ceramic workshops, where it will be possible to witness the different phases of clay processing.

We will admire the famous Scala di Santa Maria del Monte, with its 142 decorated ceramic steps. We will discover the history and evolution of ceramics through the centuries.
We will discover the main monuments of the historic center Unesco Heritage: Bourbon Prison, Piazza Umberto, Piazza Municio, Galleria Luigi Sturzo.
Walking we will also visit the traditional ceramic workshops, so you can witness live the different phases of clay processing.
Finally we will dive into the Public Garden, a beautiful urban park designed in the late 1800s.
